National Sales Leader – Medical Products
We are currently seeking a National Sales Director/Leader to oversee our nationwide sales organization of independent manufacturer sales representatives. In this role, you will play a crucial part in fostering the development of new business opportunities and enhancing brand awareness across the United States.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for people development, a proficiency in data analysis, and a hands-on operational approach dedicated to continuous improvement in all facets of sales.
National Sales Director/Leader Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the National Sales organization of independent manufacturer sales representatives to facilitate the closure of opportunities and the identification of new business prospects.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with equipment planners to ensure the inclusion of company Medical Products in specifications for new construction projects.
- Conduct industry research to identify emerging opportunities for business expansion.
- Work in conjunction with the National Distribution Manager, utilizing market data, statistics, and trends to establish sales goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
- Continuously monitor and document sales trends and related data to enhance supply and demand strategies, ultimately maximizing profits.
- Collaborate with the advertising and marketing team to enhance sales promotions, methods, and campaigns.
- Contribute to the identification and development of new products.
- Provide ongoing support to motivate representatives, sharing company announcements, industry trends, sales data, new construction opportunities, competitive analysis, etc.
Education and Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in capital product sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field
Additional Skills/Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CRM systems.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, for clear expression of technical and nontechnical concepts.
- Strong organizational skills to meet goals and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Compensation: $80,000 – $120,000 /yr
