Job Overview

The National Account Executive, within Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP), will support our Central Division  business (Walgreens, HEB, Hy-Vee, etc.) as a part of the IPSO (Independent Pepsi Sales Organization) system commercial organization.  The individual in this position will serve as a key member of the IPSO commercial team, who contributes to the strategic direction of the customer relationship.  This role is responsible for volume, revenue, and share growth by developing, selling, and executing IPSO team Large and Small Format strategies primarily for the Crush and Schweppes trademarks.  This role is also responsible for process improvements in the areas of store-level service & plan execution working in conjunction with our Pepsi Bottling Partners. 

 

This role is to be based in Frisco, TX or Chicago, IL.  Travel requirements approximately 30% of the time.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with all customers, including the Pepsi Central Division retail leads, IPSO team, KDP leadership, and other key stakeholders
  • Plays a vital role in the brand and distribution strategy in Central Division accounts for Crush and Schweppes brands, and acts as a subject matter expert on our business for our bottling partners and operations teams within the IPSO System
  • Ability to analyze internal, syndicated and point of sale (POS) data to identify opportunities and adjust plans to meet and exceed annual goals and objectives
  • Identify opportunities and lead cross-functional projects such as ensuring timely modular reset execution, improving on-shelf availability, driving display execution, improving service metrics, refining communications, creating impactful field selling stories, etc.
  • Facilitate joint planning with key IPSO Bottlers & KDP Leadership through facilitation of regular group meetings
  • Develop short- and long-term strategic growth plans in coordination with the Pepsi retail teams, Omni Channel & Shopper Marketing, IPSO leadership team, and Category Management
  • Sell/communicate key initiatives to bottler/distributor decision makers, ensuring alignment and execution of internal strategies and the JBP
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and support all aspects of customer relationship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Experience navigating complex Route to Market models and possess extensive experience working in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influencing others in order to drive execution of sales plans, initiatives, project deliverables, etc.
  • Possess strong Excel/ data management skills
  • Experience in bringing thought leadership and a solutions mindset to solve complex issues

 


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution 
  • 5 years of CPG sales, or sales support experience in National Accounts
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience using IRI, Nielsen Scantrack, or other syndicated data
  • Highly Proficient in using MS Office products such as PowerPoint, Word and Microsoft Excel
