Summary
The Multimedia Design Specialist, Video Production is responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing multimedia content for various platforms. The Multimedia Specialist has a deeper level of expertise in video and other multimedia production and is expected to contribute to more complex projects.
Requirements
Essential Functions, Roles, and Responsibilities
- Plan, create, produce, direct and edit multimedia content, including videos, animations, images, and interactive media.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in Video Production including camera operation, lighting, audio, and other equipment.
- Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in multimedia software and equipment, such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Contribute to the development of creative concepts and strategies for multimedia projects.
- Independently execute multiple multimedia projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure that multimedia content meets high-quality standards and aligns with the organizations brand guidelines.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including graphic designers, video producers, and content creators, to achieve project goals.
- Implement multimedia content strategies, including optimizing content for various platforms and managing content schedules.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Professional Competencies
· Strong knowledge of multimedia software and equipment, including audio and video equipment, video editing, graphic design, and 3D modeling tools.
· Ability to support multiple projects independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
· Ability to switch between camera operations, producing, directing, script writing, audio engineering, video editing, planning production, and equipment maintenance.
· Ability to lead or mentor junior team members on multimedia projects.
· An eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality multimedia content.
· Strong storytelling capabilities, with a keen eye for detail and composition.
· Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
· Willingness to learn and adapt to new multimedia technologies and trends.
· Strong problem-solving skills to address technical and creative challenges.
Experience and Education Requirements
· Minimum 4 years of experience in multimedia production or a related role.
· Experience in multimedia software and tools, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video projects that demonstrate proficiency in filming, lighting, editing, and animation.
