Job Description
SUMMARY:
Coordinates inventory control functions including counting, tracking, and ordering of parts, materials and equipment for the Maintenance Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in the coordination, preparing of requisitions, and purchases maintenance parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Assists in consulting with vendors, suppliers and procurement personnel to determine availability. Verifies correct specifications and ensures timely delivery.
- After learning the eMaint system, puts away parts in eMaint and creates new locations in eMaint as needed.
- Assists in monthly cycle counts, and yearend inventory.
- Responsible for assisting in maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Maintains computerized and paper records and generates inventory reports using eMaint, ROSS, and others.
- Enters data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments into eMaint, ROSS and other programs as required.
- Assist in maintaining complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
- Any other duties as required per job and assigned by management.
- Issues all daily stores items.
- Training for this position will take place in Louisville, KY with our MRO buyers and the Maintenance and Reliability Manager.

- Must be 18 years of age. High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others orally or written.
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Effective negotiating skills.
- Computer skills and ability to operate other electronic office equipment.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of computer inventory tracking system (storeroom levels, auditing, and tracking abilities).
