MRI Technologist

Job Summary:
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures to produce high-quality images used for diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise will help our healthcare team detect abnormalities and provide the best possible care to our patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic TechnologyCertifications/Licenses: Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support; Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-MR) OR Registered Radiological Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) and Registered MRI Technologist by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)Experience/Knowledge/Skills: Ability to lift and maneuver patients; familiarity with MRI procedures and equipment
Principal Accountabilities:
Perform MRI procedures, including patient preparation, contrast administration, and ensuring technical qualityEnter and monitor patient data accuratelyConduct quality assurance checks on MRI equipmentRespond to emergencies within the department and report any incidents or malfunctions Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring safety and quality of service Support professional growth and development through education and mentorship of staff Demonstrate compassion and personalized care to patients and colleagues
