We are currently seeking a Mortgage Loan Servicer to join Kirtland Credit Union within our Home Loan Center, located at 6700 Jefferson St NE, Suite D-1, Albuquerque, NM 87109.

This is what we would like you to do:

Responsible for all aspects of Mortgage Loan servicing and support. This includes portfolio mortgages as well as investor mortgages (Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae, FHA, and VA). It is expected that this position will work with management and other staff to improve and standardize mortgage servicing functions for all types of mortgages. It is expected that the position will support and adhere to the credit union’s mission, vision, core values, and service standards. It is also expected that the position will provide exceptional internal and external member service, at all times.

These are what your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Assumes responsibility for providing effective mortgage servicing activities.
• Communication, Awareness and Knowledge share.
• Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Can you to bring to the table:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, preferred.

Required Knowledge:

• Knowledge of Mortgage Origination and Loan Processing.
• Knowledge of Mortgage documents in relation to loan Origination.
• Knowledge of Title & Escrow.
• Knowledge of branch operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of banking fundamentals preferred.
• Basic knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
• Knowledge of FNMA, GNMA, FHA and VA preferred.

Experience Required:

• Five years of experience in Mortgage Servicing/Processing, Mortgage/Banking/Credit Union institution, Title/Escrow Company or Mortgage Appraiser preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with members and other staff.
• Available for all KFCU operating hours.
• Maintain professional appearance and conduct.
• Position requires the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical and research skills required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work multiple deadlines within tight time constraints.
• Ability to work in an office/cubicle environment.
