Mortgage Loan Officer

We’re hiring a Loan Officer (purchased-based Loan Officers only who have their own self-sourced business - NO CONSUMER DIRECT LOs) who will work directly alongside our loan origination staff to help our applicants through the Mortgage Loan process. You’ll get applicants mortgage-ready, prepare paperwork, and respond to customer inquiries on transactions as needed. $300,000 yearly

• Coordinate and prepare documentation necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
• Verify all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete in accordance with company policy and procedures and report any discrepancies to the loan originator/ Loan Officer
• Act as the primary contact between our clients and our company and schedule and conduct meetings to discuss any follow-up issues or items that need to be addressed
• Provide administrative support such as screening and making calls, booking appointments, etc.
• Follow up and respond to customer and in-house inquiries on transactions as needed in order to provide superior customer service

• Work with your own self-sourced referral sources/agents/past clients, etc. on a daily basis to continue close 2 units per month minimum in purchase volume or more
• You will be provided an LOA, an expense account, and a dedicated processor for production of $1M or more per month

• Strong understanding of loan financing options such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
• Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients
• NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired
• 5+ years of professional office environment experience as a Loan Officer assistant or mortgage assistant preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree in finance or banking preferred

• Must be a purchased-based producer with your own self-sourced business
• Must currently close 2 purchase units a month or more in self-sourced purchase business
