Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is actively seeking a part-time Monitor Tech to work in our IMCU/ Patient Care Services department. This individual maintains responsibility, accountability and authority for clerical, ordering and monitoring duties in the Intermediate Care Unit and the Intensive Care Unit. This individual possesses an up-to-date knowledge base to ensure ongoing competency in performing the level and scope of responsibilities.
MAIN FUNCTION:
To perform reception, communication, clerical and secretarial duties within a nursing unit.
EDUCATION:
- ·High School graduate with business/medical terminology curriculum preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- Three (3) moths related experience preferred. Certification in arrhythmia detection through successful completion of course and exam provided by the Department of Education and Staff Development.
