We are seeking a motivated and dedicated React Native Mobile Application Developer Intern / Hybrid Co-op to join our dynamic development team. As an intern, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge Mobile Applications using React Native. Your role will involve working within our existing software architecture while aligning your development efforts with our future business goals. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about mobile app development, eager to learn, and excited to make an impact.
Responsibilities

• React Native Development: Collaborate with our development team to design, implement, test, and deploy Mobile Applications using React Native framework.
• Architectural Alignment: Understand and adhere to the current software architecture while developing new features and functionality. Seek guidance from senior developers to ensure architectural consistency.
• Business Requirements: Work closely with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to grasp the business requirements and goals for the Mobile Applications. Contribute ideas to enhance the app's user experience and alignment with business strategy.

• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in code reviews to improve code quality and learn from experienced developers.
• Future-Proof Solutions: Develop solutions that are not only aligned with current requirements but also consider scalability and future enhancements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver high-quality Mobile Applications.
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and techniques in mobile app development and React Native.
• Problem-Solving: Contribute to troubleshooting efforts and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a Relevant Degree Program: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Expected to graduate in next 6-8 months.
• Passion for React Native: Genuine interest in mobile app development with React Native. Basic knowledge of React Native concepts and familiarity with TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Passion for Mobile Development: Genuine interest in mobile app development for platforms such as iOS and Android. Basic knowledge of mobile app development concepts and technologies.

• Coding Skills: Proficiency in Typescript/JavaScript and its modern frameworks. Familiarity with React and React Native is a plus.
• Architectural Awareness: Ability to work within an existing software architecture and follow architectural guidelines.
• Business Understanding: Eagerness to understand the business goals and user needs that drive the Mobile Application's development.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Willingness to explore and learn new technologies and tools.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

• Adaptability: Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies and development practices.
• Must have permanent work authorization in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

• Personal or academic projects demonstrating React Native development skills.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., GitHub) and agile development methodologies.

• Previous internship or relevant work experience in mobile app development.
