Title: Intern, Talent Development
Location: Remote /Downtown Chicago (30 W. Monroe St.)
The base salary offered will range between $52,000 - $57,500 and will depend on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, other business and organizational needs, and if applicable, the location from which the applicant will be performing the job. The total compensation package for this position includes benefits such as health care, 401(k) plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), life insurance, disability insurance, and more.
Oak Street Health’s Talent Development & Analytics team provides tools and education that maximize talent at Oak Street Health. Examples of our work include performance management, team member engagement, talent analytics/reporting, and leadership education.
The intern position supports the Talent Development team by contributing to the work streams above. The role is a part-time, remote, paid internship that will offer around 20 hours per week with some scheduling flexibility. Sample responsibilities may include:
Helps create and edit communications and materials such as job aids
Maintains team resources, such as an internal intranet page, distribution list, etc
Supports team collaboration (e.g., manages weekly team meeting agenda, monitors tool usage, etc.)
May analyze and create reports for talent data such as survey results and turnover metrics
Contributes to ad hoc projects across talent management &/or analytics workstreams, as needed
The role works alongside experienced I/O professionals with various career experiences and a genuine desire to help develop and grow someone new to the field.
We are seeking a individualwho:
Recently completed or is currently pursuing a degree in industrial/ organizational psychology, organizational development, talent management, or a related field
Is able to work 20-25 hours per week
Has strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
Has very strong detail orientation
Previous professional or internship experience in HR or talent management settings preferred
