Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Program Manager to join our mission in King of Prussia, PA!
The MK21A Vehicle Senior Program Manager is fully responsible for cost, schedule and technical performance associated with design, build, test and delivery of all Reentry Vehicle (RV) and Arming Fusing Subsystem (AFS) hardware required for the MK21A EMD program. This includes cost, schedule and technical management and performance of the RV IPT and the AFS IPT. The candidate must be able to integrate various information during execution, make informed decisions, be able to drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop a corrective action path forward when necessary. This individual will report to the MK21A PM and will be the direct line of communication for all RV and AFS execution items.

Key responsibilities include:
• Manage overall delivery performance of RV hardware within the RV IPT including at a minimum BSA, FSA, NT, RFSS, Rear Cover/Spin System elements and all AFS hardware within the AFS IPT.
• Coordinate overall design baseline and configuration of RV and AFS hardware with responsible Chief Engineers. This will include technical reviews, TIMs, etc.
• Managing/directing multiple IPT Leaders and CAMs in executing their scope to meet the program baseline
• Resolving programmatic challenges within your scope and establishing risk mitigation activities.
• Supporting the overall programmatic business rhythm for baseline management, monthly reporting, status and communication, and overall EVM performance of your span of control.
• Developing a baseline plan and managing overall execution of support organizations which are required to ensure program execution success, such as Supply Chain (subcontracts and piece part) procurements, Production Operations, Engineering, Finance and Planning.
• Coordinate staffing requirements for your program scope with the entire program leadership team for consolidation of total program requirements.
• Report out to the overall MK21A Program Manager and ASP Senior Leadership at recurring reviews within the ASP business rhythm.
• Report out to the Air Force customer on cost, schedule and technical performance of your responsible program scope.
• Promote an environment of continuous improvement and digital transformation within your responsible program scope.
Basic Qualifications
• Proven program management experience, with direct experiences in developing and executing cost and schedule baselines
• Prior management and leadership experience across the program life cycle working with multiple functions simultaneously to execute a program (For example: Program Management, Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Planning and/or Finance)
• Direct Control Account Management (CAM) experience, including Earned Value Management (EVM), risk/opportunity management and/or managing performance metrics.
• Active Secret Clearance is required prior to start. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Ability to travel on an as-needed basis
Desired skills
• 5 or more years experience managing an aerospace program
• Proven experience in driving and implementing affordability and producibility changes, especially those directly impacting program performance
• Knowledge of Digital Transformation tools and application to improve program performance
• Direct Subcontract Management experience
• Direct Production Operations experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with staff, customers, management, and peers

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Colorado Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in Colorado or Washington is $146,800 - $281,400. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full time employees: accrue 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO); receive 40 hours of Granted PTO annually for incidental absences; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of PTO per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO is prorated based on hours worked and start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California or New York City is $168,800 - $318,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
