Locating sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, by listening for problems and/or by using precision measuring and testing instruments
Removing old equipment and installation of new
Answering questions and requests regarding mechanical maintenance
Receiving warehouse goods and materials and checks them against purchase orders and delivery documentation to ensure correctness and proper condition of merchandise
Maintaining accurate records of preventative maintenance schedules, as well as knowledge of general and preventative maintenance procedures
Performing weekly safety checks to ensure a safe and clean environment and eliminate all hazards
Understanding proper LOTO procedures
Strong rigging background with safety background
Overhead crane inspections and repairs
Maintenance welding
Specifying parts needed for proper repairs
Working hours: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and determine the appropriate measures to correct them
Time management skills and the ability to work well in a team setting
Ability to perform moderate to heavy physical labor, including walking, climbing, standing, sitting, and lifting
Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Mechanical, Low Voltage
Ability to read and interpret blueprints for trouble shooting, repairs, and process and safety improvements
