Mill Operator

At Us Greens, a Mill Operator's duties include but are not limited to bringing in raw material from freezer for grinding, starting, running and then shutting down the mill. Filling out all necessary paperwork. Maintaining, daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Collecting samples of each product for microbe testing and maintaining a sample inventory. We produce a food grade product that requires strict sanitation and cleaning policies. Forklift experience is a plus as well as having a high school diploma. Experience in a GMP processing area is also a plus. Looking to hire full time. Pay is based on experience and starts at $18/hr.

Our company US Greens is owned by Bert and Wetta Sales. Bert and Wetta is family owned and has been in business since the 1940's. US Greens was founded in 2013. At US Greens, we produce fine milled cereal grasses such as wheat grass, barley grass and alfalfa. We then supply these grasses to various companies as healthy ingredients for their products. All of our grasses are gluten free, non-gmo, certified organic and kosher. This job would provide stability and offer a unique learning opportunity into a rapidly growing industry.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
