Bridgeport Mill Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Bridgeport Operators must function as productive, contributing, and responsible members of the work team. Operators are required to:

Perform close tolerance boring holding .0007 total

Perform various types of millwork

Knowledge of the hone

Knowledge of serrations

Knowledge of inspection gages, calipers, micrometers, dial test indicators

Capable of calculating angles, sine bars to achieve angles

Capable of machining a wide range of metals on Bridgeport

Must be able to maintain tight tolerances.
