Form of workLower Merion School District is hiring a long-term substitute Science Teacher at Welsh Valley Middle School.
PA Middle Level Science Certification (grades 7-12, 7-9, or 4-8) is required. Out-of-state educators should explore PA's reciprocity guidelines set by the PA Department of Education. 3-5 years teaching experience preferred. Experience working with gifted learners, case management, and writing GIEPs preferred. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of gifted learners.
Good standing relative to Act 48 credits. Child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances (no less than one year from date of hire)
This is a long-term substitute position lasting from January-June 2024.
