Job Summary:
As Auxiom’s Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Journey forward into the cloud for Auxiom’s Clients. You will work with a dynamic team of professionals, serving in both a delivery capacity on projects, and the final line of support for our Service Desk team on issues relating to this specialty.
Expectations of you in this role
Project Delivery
- Technical resource to deliver on projects including, but not limited to:
- New Microsoft 365 Adoption Migrations and Tenant to Tenant Migrations
- SharePoint Migrations – both Data Only and Site Collections
- Teams Implementation and Best Practices Advising
- Entra ID and Intune Deployments – frequently from On-Prem Active Directory
- Implementing Compliance and Governance Policies
- SSO (Single Sign On) deployment for third party applications
- Azure Migrations and Optimizations (Servers and Services)
- Other duties as assigned
Support Escalation
- Provide a final level of escalation support related to Microsoft 365 and Azure to our Level 3 team. (This position would be equivalent to a Level 4 Service Desk Engineer)
- Assist Service Desk and Automation teams with scripting and automation of common tasks within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cloud environments.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and feature updates, and educate the team as needed.
- Be honest, transparent, and genuine with our clients and your peers.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a Managed IT Services environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure Ecosystem.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Starting salary range is in the 80K-100K range. Full benefit package. This position is a hybrid position - several days a week in-office required, with flexibility to work from home office the other days. We look forward to hearing from you and welcoming you to our team.
