OVERVIEW
The Microsoft 365 Administrator will manage the day-to-day aspects of the corporate 365 environment infrastructure including: our O365 environment, Azure Active Directory, and any other relevant email platform(s). Their focus will be on 365/Azure AD cloud infrastructure, configuration management, and security to leverage corporate identity network connectivity to help improve employee productivity. The Microsoft 365 Administrator configures and maintains our 365/Azure AD infrastructure to ensure compliance with the companys security policies, as well as identifies and participates in projects to improve and advance the companys computing infrastructure.
JOB DUTIES
- Administers and supports the Office 365 suite configurations including all related email services.
- Manages problem resolution to satisfactory completion by keeping abreast of assigned tickets and following the proper escalation process via ticketing system.
- Reviews, tests, and makes recommendations for standard email practices.
- Manages Active Directory and Azure Active Directory functions including account provisioning.
- Services health monitoring using Office 365 console and actively responds based on system alerts and notifications.
- Supports anti-spam filtering, logging and email tracking, and transport rules.
- Assists in developing scripts for automating processes within the environment.
- Creates Office 365 SharePoint sites for domain users and external client access.
- Provides support to employees for technical and configuration issues related to Microsoft 365 applications.
- Provides Microsoft 365 application training to end-users including but not limited to Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive.
- Provides on-call and after-hours support as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems (Required)
- 6 months experience with Powershell scripting.
- 2 years experience administering and implementing Microsoft 365 environment.
- 6 months experience with Microsoft Active Directory services.
- Knowledge of Office 365 Platform, Exchange online, SharePoint Online, Teams, PowerBI, Security & Compliance Center, Office, and OneDrive for Business
- Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
- Microsoft 365 Security Administration (MS-500)
- Microsoft Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Online (MS-220)
- Knowledge of technology development methodologies, testing processes, technical relationships, data security, and compliance standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed
- Ability to travel by car or plane with overnight stays as required
