We provide a range of services from our enrichment program, prevocational program, community employment program, and self employment program called Limitless, which focuses on microenterprise development to foster independence and entrepreneurship within the IDD community.

Position Overview:

Independence Through Grace Foundation is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Success Coach for the Limitless Program. We believe that in order to be effective in this position, it must be approached as a calling and not as a job. As a Success Coach, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and supporting individuals with IDD through the process of starting and running their own microenterprises. Through compassion, motivation, patience and commitment, you will have the opportunity to witness individuals, many of whom have been told they will accomplish nothing in life, break out of the cocoon society has placed upon them and proudly state “I am a business owner!”

Responsibilities:

• Coaching and Mentorship:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group coaching to individuals in the Limitless Program, guiding them through the various stages of microenterprise development.

  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with participants, ensuring their unique needs and aspirations are taken into account.

• Training Program Delivery:

  • Implement and facilitate the comprehensive training program designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge needed for successful microenterprise management.

  • Conduct workshops, practical exercises, and learning sessions to enhance the capabilities of program participants.

• Community Engagement:

  • Collaborate with local communities, businesses, and stakeholders to create networking opportunities and support for microenterprise initiatives.

  • Represent Independence Through Grace Foundation at community events and initiatives related to microenterprise development.

• Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Track the progress of individuals in the program, assessing milestones and addressing challenges as they arise.

  • Work collaboratively with the program team to continuously improve and adapt the coaching and training approach based on participant feedback and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Passion for the mission and values of Independence Through Grace Foundation.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.

• Adaptability and a positive attitude in navigating the challenges of microenterprise development.

• Creative, out of the box thinker who can create solutions to complex problems and implement action steps to accomplish the task in a timely manner.

• Previous experience in coaching, mentorship, or working with individuals with diagnosed disabilities is an asset.

• Tech-savvy and willing to learn and integrate new technologies.

• Basic understanding of business operations from start-up to sustainability. Former successful microenterprise ownership would be a plus.
