Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Microbiologist to join our Quality Control team. The primary responsibility of this role is to support QC activities, including raw material testing, environmental monitoring testing, finished product testing for both CO and WA, and in-process testing. This position will require working on Tuesday - Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform microbiological and physical analysis of raw, in-process, and finished materials to support production and ensure the quality of our products.
  • Execute laboratory testing procedures following GLP, GMP, and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Monitor temperature and humidity readings for laboratory cold storage units, incubators, and stability chambers. Evaluate the impact of excursions and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and revise Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy with current practices and reference methods.
  • Prepare Media as necessary.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Perform Special Projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 0-2 years of experience in laboratory, manufacturing quality control, or food/pharmaceutical sector.
  • Bachelor's degree in a natural science.
  • Experience in Quality Controls: Five-why analysis, flow chart, check sheet, checklists.
  • Extroverted personality with the ability to handle stress and multitask.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when necessary.

  4. Adherence to Guidelines: Ability to follow GLP, GMP, and safety guidelines to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  5. Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaborating with team members and reporting findings.
