We are seeking to hire a Sales Account Manager responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to secure new customers as well as to increase revenue from current customers. The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in increasing revenue by negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, closing sales opportunities, and providing continued customer support. This is a salary + commission position.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing sales to achieve revenue goals
• Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
• Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest
• Remain in frequent contact with the clients to understand customer needs and requirements
• Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
• Provide management with any relevant insight into competitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, promotions, etc.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Qualifications

• BA/BS/MS Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology or related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
• 2+ years’ experience working in microbiology or food safety field.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and Environmental Monitoring Programs is a plus.
• Previous experience working closely with team members and management.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills (Verbal & Written).
• Highly motivated with a demonstrated record of success.
• Proficient with Microsoft office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
