The Manager, Records Management will manage the Records Management function at TriWest which is responsible for overseeing the collection, maintenance, and integrity of electronic and paper records from multiple sources. This position will serve as the point of contact with outgoing contractor and government points-of-contact to receive and manage electronic and paper records. The Manager, Records Management will collaborate with information security, information technology, legal and other relevant internal departments to establish and manage the Records Management function and ensure contractual requirements are met.

Education & Experience
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in Records Management and maintenance
- Currently holds or is able to obtain the Certified Records Manager credential within one year
- Demonstrated increasing levels of responsibilities in leadership over Records Management to include electronic and paper records, as well as data management
- Eligible to receive DoD security clearance
- TRICARE or MEDICARE operations experience in Records Management and compliance
- Knowledge of government records policies
Key Responsibilities
Manage TriWest's Records Management program and functions in accordance to contract requirements. The Records Management program will include receipt, disposition, reporting and maintenance of paper and electronic records. Ensure the planning, controlling, directing, organizing, training, promoting, and other managerial activities related to the creation, maintenance and use, and disposition of records are carried out in such a way as to achieve adequate and proper documentation of Federal policies and transactions and effective and economical management of operations- Communicate, collaborate and coordinate with outgoing contractor and all relevant government contacts to ensure transfer of all records
- Oversee testing of records to ensure record files are accessible, usable, searchable and retrievable
- Attend and participate in transition meetings and required training meetings
- Recruit, hire, onboard, Train, coach, counsel, and develop Records Management team. Coordinate work schedules, assign work, and evaluate department outcomes
- Interpret and disseminate Government Records Management requirements. Coordinate requirements/changes with the Vice President and General Counsel and functional experts
Collaborate with information security, information technology and facility teams to ensure security and integrity of records- Develop, write, and maintain Records Management policies and procedures, guidelines, and instructions. Lead in ensuring company compliance of Records Management requirements
- Provide guidance on electronic record-keeping and imaging requirements
- Develop reports for the Defense Health Agency (DHA) and TriWest leadership
- Function as liaison to the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Records Management Officer
- Receive and coordinate all DHA record requests.
- Function as the main Point of Contact for TriWest records requests and status questions
- Function as the Point of Contact for the transfer of paper records in and out of off-site storage (contractor, government and TriWest records)
- Coordinate archiving and retrieval of records to/from the Federal Records Center and TriWest's offsite records storage facility
- Ensure that department staff is properly cross-trained to maintain continuity of operations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:
- Works within a standard office environment or remote work from home
- Ability to do repetitive work and maintain set production standards
- Ability to operate office equipment (copiers, faxes, and printers)
- Department of Defense security clearance required
- Exposure to dust or uncomfortable working conditions for occasional work in the preparation of records for off-site storage areas
- Ability to lift boxes from 20 to 50 pounds
