The Meter Data Acquisition-Processing Analyst is an experienced professional with a general knowledge of customer billing principles and practices. Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills to facilitate researching, analyzing and resolving BPEM (Business Process Exception Management) cases. Responsible for processing and maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the Meter Data Acquisition and management systems as well as MV-90/SAP/HES. Understands complex rates and tariffs, and develops billing calculators for large accounts. Analyzes business processes, procedures, computer systems, and data of Meter Data Acquisition and management systems and recommends areas for improvement.

- Maintain a strong knowledge of industry and technology trends as they relate to Large Account customer service.
- Participates in cross training to stay abreast of changes or enhancements to system, billing and order closure procedures.
- Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of the Meter Data Acquisition and billing processes for large accounts.
- Performs troubleshooting and resolves issues related to SAP/MV-90/MDMS/HES systems that adversely affect productivity
- Responsible for operations, procedures, and report production in SAP/MV-90/MDMS/HES systems, meeting all contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Understands complex rates and tariffs
- Develops and maintains the parameters, billing calculators, price matrix templates, contract details, and meter read schedule needed for large accounts.
- Ensures compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
- Communicate with all Customer Service Departments and Cleco Customers when necessary to maintain customer service regarding exceptions in a timely manner.
- Ensures that communication links with internal team members and external customers are maintained
- Acts as a liaison between the Internal Customers to address system needs or enhancements with acceptable solutions.
- Provides accurate and timely information to internal and external clients using a variety of software tools utilized by Cleco's Customer Experience organization.
Qualifications
Required Education, Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
Strong knowledge of leading practices for their practice area
Strong attention to detail; Analytical skills
Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences
Proficient at functioning effectively within a team environment, present ideas and opinions in a respective and collegial manner
Strong customer focus and employee experience mindset
Proficient in MS Excel (i.e. must have knowledge of formulas)
SAP experience preferred
