SalaryRainier Industries, a local manufacturing organization with a long, stablished history, is looking for an Entry Level Metal Shop Assistant to join our team.
The Metal Shop Assistant helps with a wide range of processes such as material inventory, preparing material for jobs (pulling material, cutting, punching, deburring) and shop cleanliness. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn a trade in metal work. No prior experience is required. If you are interested in working hard and learning, we will provide the training.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- Ability to learn how to use hand and pneumatic/vibratory tools.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage own time effectively.
- Ability to read a measuring tape.
- Able to stand & walk for most of the shift.
- Understanding of the importance of quality work.
- Dependable, responsible, and reliable.
- Positive attitude that contributes to a positive work environment.
This is an hourly position, eligible for overtime. Pay starts between $18.00-$21.00 per hour.
