What you will be doing:
- This individual will be responsible for being proficient in all styles of duct (galvanized, rectangular, double-wall, slip and drive, etc.)
- Entering field orders into Vulcan software for fabrication.
- Putting together packets of Labels, Cut Lists and Shipping documentation for the Sheet Metal Shop Team
- Conducts Quality Control Checks on field orders and communicates with the team on any issues.
- Responsible for keeping the production schedule up to date by communicating with the Management Team
- Working with the Shipping Team on delivery schedules as required
- Sectioning and Numbering Duct for fabrication
- Responsible for working with fiberglass, plastics, and other nonmetallic materials
- Measure and cut appropriate size of Sheet Metal, as well as install preassemble duct
- Any other tasks as required by Management
What you need for this role:
- 4+ years in commercial duct installation
- ABC Apprenticeship Program or NCCER training/certification required.
- Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Strong working knowledge of job site safety
- Experience with CamDuct and Vulcan are preferred but we are willing to train.
- Basic Computer Skills required, Windows Applications.
