We are looking for a Merchant Development Coordinatorto join the Wildfire System’s Merchant Development team. Amongst many exciting challenges, you will:
- Accept new merchant offers and commission rates. Alert Merchant Development teams to major changes in merchant activity, commission rates or revenue for top merchants.
- Identify merchant partnerships that are appropriate for our publisher partners based on geography, category or other defined criteria.
- Use internal and external tools to create and schedule advertising placements, confirm rates and provide screenshots for merchant records.
- Collaborate across internal and external stakeholders to research questions regarding merchants or networks on behalf of internal staff and partners.
- Review network communications and respond as needed or assign to Merchant Development Manager or Director for follow up.
- Perform data analysis, reporting and research to support strategic merchant initiatives.
- Interact with merchant partners to obtain creative assets for partner sites and platforms.
- Liaise with affiliate network representatives regarding recruitment and optimization efforts and participate in regular meetings.
- Use administration tools to perform quality assurance checks on behalf of our merchants, including rates and coupons.
- Maintain profiles and setup information on internal admin and affiliate interfaces.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
- 1 year of affiliate marketing or agency experience
- Ability to effectively communicate, especially through email
- Proficient in relevant computer applications (Word, Excel, Gsuite, Hubspot or other CRM, various affiliate network interfaces, etc.)
- Negotiation and conflict management skills
- Ability to collaborate well with remote teams
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment; adapt quickly to change, and have a passion for learning

Salary Range DisclaimerThe base salary range represents the low and high end of the Wildfire Systems salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Wildfire Systems’ total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses and long term incentives.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
