ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Donor Cultivation & Stewardshipo Provides project management for printed materials produced by the Development team, including newsletters, program impact updates, and special donor communications (anniversary and holiday cards, etc.).o Develops direct mail, email appeals, and acknowledgment letters in coordination with the Director, Individual Giving and the Sr. Manager, Institutional Giving.o Coordinates donor acknowledgment process, including logistics for the printing, stuffing, and mailing of letters and communications in a timely manner.o Manages logistics for developing and implementing donor stewardship events, including virtual and in-person donor gatherings.o Builds relationships through donor communication, including year-end reminders, acknowledgments, donor inquiries, and RSVPs.o Manages stewardship and cultivation calendars for individual donors, corporate and foundation partners, and government grants.o Remains current on industry best practices and trends for donor retention. Makes recommendations on strategies to improve donor systems, stewardship activities, and retention metrics.
2. Database Administration o Specializes in the use of the donor database to ensure accuracy.o Coordinates processes for data entry, gift processing, and current donor information.o Leverages technology and provides analysis into the health of the database to determine areas of challenge and opportunity.o Utilizes donor information to generate queries and reports for mailings and stewardship activities.o Responsible for routinely uploading information from the grants management and individual donor management calendars into Raiser's Edge and proactively works to anticipate and meet team needs.o Runs Raiser's Edge financial reports to assist with daily deposit reconciliation with the Finance team, ensuring Development revenue matches deposit amounts from accounting.
3. Round-Up Campaigno Coordinates retail change Round-Up program; analyzes trends.o Works in partnership and meets regularly with Retail leadership, managers, and store associates to support the program.o Reviews and updates staff training materials and store/customer communication.o Implements new strategies to keep the program innovative and drive results.o Coordinates all logistics for Round Up celebrations, monthly reporting, and communication.
4. Community Impact & Volunteer Coordinationo Builds internal GGW relationships to identify potential volunteer opportunities and develops and regularly maintains volunteer events calendar.o Supports the Sr. Manager, Institutional Giving, by serving as logistics contact and coordinator of corporate volunteer opportunities to deepen engagement with GGW's mission.o Coordinates external communication for the Community Impact team.o Coordinates the charitable registration and partner application process.o Coordinates registration updates and monitors external donation portals, including Just Giving, United Way, and Network for Good, to ensure accurate information about GGW programs.o Coordinates updates and information for charity-rating websites (e.g., GuideStar). o Sets up meetings with prospective and current funders.o Supports the Chief Community Impact and Sustainability Officer as needed. 5. Other duties as assigned.
*This position requires the use of a personal vehicle for occasional travel to and from off-site locations through the DC metropolitan area.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. 2-3 years of fundraising experience2. Experience with Raiser's Edge, Raiser's Edge NXT, or similar donor CRM software.
