Form of workProvides individual child and adolescent therapy, adult, family and individual therapy to parents, parent guidance/support, educational counseling to foster and adoptive caregivers and intensive clinical case management (including in-home services).
- Functions as a member of a work team to coordinate Mental Health interventions with other members, providing internal and external consultation and case management for assigned clients as needed.
- Performs complete and accurate client intake evaluations including diagnoses.
- Prepares intake and accurate assessments, treatment plans, crisis plans and progress notes, concurrent reviews, discharge summaries and completes necessary reports and correspondence related to client care.
- Provides clinical service to clients to include adult, child, group and family therapy, support services to foster and adoptive care givers. Provides clinical case management services.
- Implements Mental Health interventions consistent with team consultation and treatment plan goals.
- Develops and conducts community outreach programs directed at children and families.
- Provides consultation and training to colleagues and other staff regarding family dynamics, play therapy and case status as it relates to total case planning.
- Attends team meetings, psychiatric consultation and individual supervision and other program meetings. Assists clinical manager in the overall development and planning of the BHP.
- Collaborates effectively with schools and other child-serving systems.
- Because of the Tribe’s commitment to community service and the well being of its members, each employee may be expected to perform a wide range of office and field duties from time to time. Such duties may or may not be related to their regular responsibilities, and may include driving.
Required: Master’s degree in behavioral science from an accredited college or university, plus a minimum of three (3) years paid clinical experience with youth and families and three (3) years professional post-graduate work experience with emotional disturbed children, youth, families, individuals and couples required. A current and valid Washington. State license in one of the following Mental Health professions required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Clinical Psychologist
Preferred: Previous experience in a tribal setting.

- HIPAA laws/regulations with regard to protected health information (PHI)

Occasionally lifts and/or carries up to 20 lbs. Occasionally pushes/pulls up to 250 lbs. Occasionally works outside and is exposed to weather conditions.
A current and valid Washington State license in one of the following Mental Health professions required: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Clinical Psychologist and current and valid Washington state drivers license.
