We are a telehealth Mental Health private practice. We specialize in comprehensive outpatient treatment for adults suffering from Mental Health concerns and trauma. We are looking for a passionate professional who is highly self-motivated, interested in developing their specialty, and performs well working independently. We utilize treatment methods such as, but not limited to: CBT, CPT, DBT, EMDR, Parts-work, Solution-Focused, Somatic-Based, Person-Centered, Strength-Based, and Mindfulness-Based Approaches. We are looking for a remote counselor/therapist to join our team as an Independent Contractor (1099 role). This is a 1099 position with a generous split and room to increase earnings. The hired individual will be paid by the hour based on clients seen and the agreed-upon split. The candidate will have the opportunity for: day, evening, weekday, and weekend hours. The candidate may schedule Telehealth appointments. The clinician should be well equipped to work within the general scope of Mental Health counseling: depression, anxiety, relationship concerns and career issues, overall Mental Health, and well-being challenges. The practice sees adults only.

Ideal Candidate:

An ideal therapist for this position is one interested in the private practice setting but wants to avoid the hassle of running a business (marketing, billing, scheduling, rent, etc). An ideal therapist for this position enjoys collaborating with other therapists, is interested in personal and professional growth, and is passionate about their work.

This position requires a strong work ethic and a desire to provide quality, evidence-based treatment. We are looking for someone passionate about learning and developing their skills. A balance of attention to detail, enthusiasm, and warmth is a must.

Requirements:

As a therapist, you will be responsible for conducting psychotherapy, preparing Mental Health plans and assessments, scheduling clients, completing quality progress notes, developing treatment plans, and completing all mandated reports. We are looking for trauma-informed counselors who are passionate about their work and strive for continued growth.

EMDR trained or open to training

• Licensed Associate Counselor and maintains good standing with the appropriate board
• 15-25 sessions per week (plus the additional time needed for case management, consultation & record keeping)
• Willingness to work weekends and evenings as needed
• Must comply with documentation protocol necessary for best practice
• DSM-5 diagnostic competency
• Demonstrate ability to have open and transparent communication with direct LPC supervisor.
• Competency with documenting “medical necessity” in progress notes and treatment plans
• Completion of notes and other required documentation within 24-48 hours of session completion
• Demonstrates knowledge of assessment, diagnostics, crisis intervention, and community resources
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and have an active Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Equipment: Must have a smartphone, computer access, and be comfortable with technology.
• Must provide own private practice liability insurance
• Provide psychotherapy services in compliance with federal and state laws and professional codes of ethics
• Conduct intake assessments for individuals, couples, or families
• Diagnose for medical necessity for treatment and billing purposes
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each client
• Conduct weekly therapy sessions
• Maintain client records according to practice standards
• Communicate in a professional, respectful, and courteous manner

Pay: $60.00 - $75.00 per hour
