Firefly Institute, located in Hillsboro, OR is an outpatient Mental Health clinic which envisions a future where the lives of all people improve. We provide a holistic practice of wellness incorporating a mind-body connection to treatment which becomes the client’s internal working model for regulation and achieving life-long health. Firefly is an organization that recognizes Mental Health as an essential part of overall well-being serving individuals and families across the lifespan. Firefly provides routine outpatient care to address Mental Health concerns. The most common Mental Health referrals are: Trauma (physical, sexual trauma, emotional abuse), depression, anxiety conditions, acute and chronic illness (pediatric preparation for surgery or other medical procedures, navigating family stressors due to chronic illness, such as cancer), court involved family systems, including divorce, expert witness testimony, advocacy, and adjustment to life stressors. Many providers specialize in expressive arts/play therapy, animal assisted therapy, and EMDR. Firefly is frequently asked to present locally and nationally on subjects related to trauma and pediatric Mental Health.
Firefly is currently reviewing applications for a therapist interested in becoming an associate within the institute who see patients across the lifespan. Associate positions are contracted partners within the organization. Clinicians create and maintain their own full time schedule for client care, which provides flexibility for work/life balance.
Hybrid service delivery: Associates have their own office (no shared office spaces to support clinical flexibility and provider specific equipment or materials). Providers can choose to see these clients in their dedicated office space or remotely.
All associates receive access to the institute medical health record system, community/case consultation support, documentation support, medical billing, claims processing and accounting support. Compensation varies depending upon the desired number of client work hours. Fee schedules and projections are provided to all associates to help support individuals in managing their caseloads and to provide guidance for salary expectations.
