A Better Therapy provides Mental Health and behavioral services to clients in the Central Florida area. Our specialty is working with K-12 at-risk youth, but we also provide services to adults as well. We currently have positions open in Orange County, specifically looking for services to be provided in the East Orlando area.

Our therapist work remotely from home and travel to clients homes and schools in their designated preferred area.

Therapy is provided in person, however there is an ability to provide services via teletherapy in response to Covid-19 when deemed appropriate. This is not solely a telehealth position.

Skills

• Willingness to work in partnership with the client to achieve goals
• Knowledge of Mental Health and/or substance abuse diagnosis. Intermediate to Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Treatment Planning
• Ability to use comprehensive assessments
• Timely and quality concurrent documentation
• Comfortable with utilizing technology at all points of the day, including telehealth software, video communication, electronic signature methods, and internal communication tools.
• Awareness of and compliance with HIPAA

What You Need

• Masters degree in a Mental Health related field REQUIRED (Clinical Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family, or Psychology)
• Applicant must pass a level II background screening for AHCA as well as the school required Jessica Lunsford Act screening if accessing school campuses.

We are looking for dedicated, self-sufficient, and detail-oriented Mental Health Therapist who are eager to help our community in this time of need.

Applicant must be self-disciplined to manage their own caseloads and deadlines and be consistently punctual with submitting work. ABT is heavily focused on compliance, and clinically sound treatment, in all its service provision, documentation and deadlines per governing insurance and Medicaid requirements.

More About the Position

Position is “Fee-for-Service”, Independently Contracted. Applicant must have dependable transportation, excellent communication skills, and be able to carry a 10-client case load minimum.

Position is paid on a percentage of billing, ranging from 45% - 53% based on education and experience level. If you are interested in working with A Better Therapy please email your resume.
