Mental Health Therapist - Virtual

XLR8 Fitness and Counseling integrates Mental Health and fitness to create a very successful outpatient program for people coming in for emotional issues, trauma, or to improve their body. Not only do we offer traditional talk therapy, XLR8 incorporates fitness programs and sponsorships to improve Mental Health treatment. We are currently experiencing rapid growth and we are looking for amazing therapists to guide and support our clients in their health and wellness journey. We are looking to expand and wants to hire a therapist to work with clients virtually.

Requirements:

• Must have a current license to practice therapy in the state of Utah (partial license may be accepted).

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with or in military population
• Fitness education and experience
• EMDR certified
• Group therapy experience (fitness and/or Mental Health)
• Play therapy trained, plus experience working with kids as young 3.

Expected Tasks

• Run individual/family/couples therapy sessions
• Possibility of running therapeutic and/or fitness groups.
• Some local travel may be required.
• Available to work afternoons/evenings
• Collaborate with other professionals (Personal trainer, coaches, instructors, nutritionist, and/or physical therapist, etc) as needed to create the most effective treatment program for your clients.
• Track client progress and attend required staff meetings
