Mental Health Therapist

We are now hiring Therapists to provide Mental Health services to individuals of all ages at our American Fork Family Clinic.

The American Fork Family Clinic (AFFC) of Wasatch Behavioral Health provides Mental Health services for adults, children, and families. We offer a variety of therapeutic services designed to help individuals and families who are affected in some way by mental illness.

Wasatch Behavioral Health (WBH) provides quality, comprehensive Mental Health care with an array of programs and services for individuals within Utah and Wasatch counties. Schedule: Monday - Friday, Hours may vary

Compensation: $26.99 - $41.70 per hour (depending on experience)

Additional compensation available for Spanish speakers, after testing proficiency.

• Associate licensure base wage range: $26.99 - $27.93 per hour / $56,000 - $58,094 annually
• Full licensure base wage range: $32.92 - $41.70 per hour / $68,000 - $86,000 annually

Essential Functions: (Performs all or some of the following)

Provides direct and indirect clinical services

Develops and supervises client treatment program

Performs individual, Family Therapy and group outpatient psychotherapy for a variety of Mental Health disorders

Provides training and consultation services to individuals, groups, families, and organizations

Attends and participates in family-team meetings

Assists in the development of permanency plans for client and family

Performs intake assessments

Develops support groups for assigned areas of specialization

Performs various administrative functions related to client and program records

Performs general case monitoring and management

Maintains awareness of patient behaviors and reaction to medications

Coordinates with supervisors regarding issues and problems

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from a college or university with a Master's degree in social work, psychology or a related field and:

For Underfill: Associate Licensed Therapist recognition in the state of Utah as one of the following: Certified Social Worker (CSW), Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT)

Employment at Wasatch Behavioral Health is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screen, motor vehicle record review and criminal background check. After hire you must complete and receive a Criminal Background Clearance (BCI) from Utah State Office of Licensing. Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment in the position, you must provide an official copy of licensure or certification.
