Sound Wellness Center is currently seeking a dynamic in-office/hybrid Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team.

Position:Mental Health Therapist (Full time and/or Part time with full benefits package)
Location: Sound Wellness Center in Owings Mills, Maryland
Compensation: $55,000 to $72,000 per annum
Schedule: Monday to Friday, open weekends (Saturday $ Sunday)
Licensure: Valid licensure in the state of Maryland - LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LICSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT

Job Responsibilities: As a Mental Health Therapist at Sound Wellness Center, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care to our clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Coordinating intakes, diagnostic evaluations, transfers, and discharge meetings.

Documenting contact notes per visit, Individual Treatment Plans (ITP), progress notes, and discharge summaries.

Organizing Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) meetings under the guidance of the Program Director.

Collaborating closely with other Treatment Team members, including PRP, Nurse, Medical Director, and Program Director.

Reporting cases of suspected abuse and neglect to appropriate agencies and creating necessary written reports.

Conducting individual, group, and family therapy/counseling as required.

Maintaining consistent communication with caregivers, case managers, attorneys, and other relevant parties.

Leading therapeutic groups to facilitate the development of social and interpersonal skills among clients.

Ensuring the overall health, safety, and well-being of clients in the program.

Informing participants and families about available community services and providing necessary support.

Referring participants to external agencies for additional community services when necessary.

Assisting in delivering other essential program services while addressing participants' psychosocial needs.

Qualifications:

• Valid licensure in the state of Maryland: LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LICSW, LCPC, LPC, LMFT.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Empathy, compassion, and a client-centered approach to therapy.
