Mental Health Therapist - Fcps Field Assignment

The Orenda Center of Wellness, LLC is a rapidly growing organization that is looking for a motivated individual to join the team and help expand our clinical Mental Health services in the greater Frederick community. This role of the adolescent community based Mental Health Therapist will report directly to their assigned offsite Clinical Manager and work concurrently with our administrative team and FCPS officials to ensure that all clients receive the appropriate level of therapeutic services. The work hours and weekly schedule is to be self-manager with a 40-hour max allowance. Hourly rate will also be paid for all internal/external required weekly meetings, set documentation / travel time, and ancillary tasks related to this position. Orenda offer weekly clinical supervisor to all board-certified therapist (LG/LM) that we include in our employment benefits package. Reliable transportation in all weather conditions is required for this role. Options for flexible onsite office space use and/or remote workdays is available upon request and by approval.
This role will be responsible for a cross spectrum of clinical duties ranging from but not limited to, conducting individual, and/or family sessions, facilitating Mental Health individual sessions, completing Mental Health clinical assessments, conferring with onsite school advisors and completing documentation in our EMR system within the 48-hour time frame deadlines. The therapist should be comfortable working with adolescents, parents as well as providing services in the home as needed. Qualified candidates must be skilled at personal time management as well as able to prioritize their daily workload alongside unexpected crisis intervention needs. Quick calm responses and a cool head during a crisis is an indispensable skill for this position to possess. De-escalation and crisis response training is preferred but not required for this role.
Position Offering:

• competitive Salary Range $68K to $73K (based upon experience and licensure)

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mental Health, Counseling, Social Work
• Appropriate Maryland state licensing such as LGPC, LMSW, LCPC, LCSW
• CPR/First Aid Certified
• Clearance from FCPS screening, fingerprinting and background check processes.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience working in the field of addiction treatment and/or Mental Health counseling as a licensed provider
• Experience facilitating therapeutic group and individual sessions with adolescents (12 and up)
• Understanding of treatment planning, clinical notations, dual diagnosis charting, Mental Health diagnosis and interventional skills
• Ability to pass local & federal background checks along with being able to clear a full panel drug screening.
• Adaptability and motivation to improve clients' lives are indispensable.
