Behavioral Health Therapist
Position: Co-Occurring Residential Treatment Therapist
Hours: Full time, fully benefited. Monday – Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Location 1: Spokane Treatment and Recovery Services (STARS): CubHouse
STARS Mission: To provide substance use disorder and Mental Health treatment through a continuum of person-centered services with dignity and respect.
STARS is seeking motivated, experienced, and empathetic Therapists to join our residential services teams. The CubHouse is a sixteen (16) bed residential facility for adult men. Our facilities provide treatment and care coordination for substance use and Mental Health disorders

We offer multiple services and levels of care to address the needs of our clients in every stage of their treatment. Our highly skilled substance use disorder and Mental Health professionals work together with the client to develop a unique and individualized service plan that treats the whole person using evidence-based practices. What You Will be Doing
You and the rest of the CubHouse Team are responsible for maintaining and promoting a therapeutic environment where residents are treated with respect, compassion, and dignity while ensuring safety, structure, and accountability. Other duties include:
Assessment/diagnosing
Develop individualized service plans
Care coordination
Discharge planning
Group facilitation
Skills building
Other duties as assigned by the STARS Director of Mental Health Services
What You Will Bring
Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field
5 years’ experience providing full range of assessment, Service planning, counseling, discharge planning and referral services in a co-occurring residential setting.
LMHCA, LICSWA
Excellent time management and communication skills
Collaborative team player
Experience in using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI, etc.)
Understands and believes in person-centered care.
Demonstrates golden thread in documentation.
Understanding of MCO authorization processes
Understanding of community providers
Carelogic or similar cloud based electronic health records (EHR) experience
