LSSI is hiring a full-time Mental Health Clinician Therapist. Provide 1:1 therapy to Williams, Colbert, CST, and other Adult Case Management clients in need of individual sessions to address symptoms of SMI, trauma, and to develop coping mechanisms in a home or community-based setting.

Essential Functions:
- Demonstrate knowledge of DSM-V diagnostic criteria, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and other useful evidence based practices.
- Provide individual and group therapy to adults with SMI in the home and in community-based settings.
- Participate in weekly supervision and staff meetings and aid in staff development around clinical issues and their practice implications.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner and meets Rule 140/132 and/or MCO requirements.
- Transportation of clients and community visits are required. Services will be provided in multiple locations.
- Comply with documentation and productivity standards.
- Adherence to ethical standards of treatment according to NASW Code of Ethics.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience working with and providing therapy to a Mental Health and/or substance use population is preferred.
- LSW/LPC, LCSW/LCPC preferred.
- Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
- Proficiency in EHR documentation and review.
- Excellent communication, organization, presentation and pc/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
- Access to reliable transportation is required.
- Valid Driver’s License in good standing for the state of residency and insurance.
- Valid Illinois statutory and liability insurance coverage is required.
