Shift Schedule: 40hrs/Wk - M-F - 8A-4P
Responsibilities:
- Conduct individualized Mental Health assessments to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to meet individual needs and promote recovery.
- Provide individual counseling and therapy sessions to incarcerated individuals, using various therapeutic modalities.
- Facilitate and lead group therapy sessions, focusing on topics such as anger management, substance abuse, trauma, and post-release planning.
- Conduct crisis interventions and perform risk assessments in response to Mental Health emergencies.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or related field.
- NYSED Certification
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with individuals within the criminal justice system.
- In-depth knowledge of Mental Health disorders, diagnostics, and evidence-based treatment approaches.
