Act Team Mental Health Clinician

About the ACT Mental Health Clinician Position

We are looking for an emotionally intelligent Social Worker. We'll need you to act as an advocate and help people foster their capacities and coping mechanisms. You'll contribute the improvement and better your clients' daily lives and experiences, within specified standards and timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Act primary therapist for patient in the ACT Program, as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Address each case as a unit and set tailored measurable goals




• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress and modify treatment plans accordingly

• Offer information and counseling on the best course of action during sessions

• Document all interventions and treatment plans in accordance with program policies

• Complete screenings, assessments, notes, and all other necessary documentation

• Participate in clinical and administrative supervision
• Provide crisis intervention for ACT recipients when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Mental Health Clinician

• Working knowledge of social theories and practices

• Social perceptiveness and empathy

• Ability to build and maintain professional helping relationships

• Ability to relate and communicate with diverse population and groups

• Resilience along with ability to assess situations

• Willing to submit to background checks

• Master's degree in social work or related field required
