Onsite Network Engineer
The Network Engineer is responsible for supporting and deploying computer networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), firewalls, wireless, and other data communications systems within our organization.

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests and all other employees
• Manage and administer Cisco network equipment.
• Manage and administer Cisco VoIP Solution as it relates to the local and wide area networks.
• Manage and administer Cisco Firepower NGFWs.
• Ensuring the highest levels of IT systems availability and security.
• Supports remote users and administers Cisco AnyConnect VPN.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional image and approach, exercising professional judgement, making decisions and assuming responsibility for decisions which have an impact on people, costs, and the delivery of services.
• Manages and administers data security infrastructure and all aspects of policy enforcement including firewalls, DNS and proxy servers, and server-based security systems.
• Expert knowledge of IT Service Management concepts, and demonstrated experience with various technologies relevant to IT Service Management.
• Primary contact for all network related circuit orders with local carriers.
• Provide management of third-party vendors.
• Maintains the confidentiality of IT systems, their applications and employees.
• Troubleshoot areas, place service calls and keep management informed of critical situations.
• May be placed on-call and may be required to respond during non-scheduled hours. 2
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Compose routine reports and correspondence.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Effectively manage problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Maintain excellent communications with all VPs, Directors and Managers.
• Develops and implements approved departmental policies and procedures.
• Keep abreast of competitive changes including industry trends and local competitive set.
• Responsible for maintaining a disciplined environment and implement practices that promote safety, quality and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with all Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) as well as all Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS).
• Present a positive image of the Tribal organization to its guests and vendors and to assist them as required.
• Must follow all safety policies and procedures and attend all scheduled safety meetings and training as a condition of employment.
• Able to make difficult decision in a fair and honest manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (MUST BE DOCUMENTED):
• Bachelor's degree preferred in related field (or equivalent experience).
• Five (5) years' experience with network troubleshooting. CERTIFICATION, LICENSES AND ANY ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must pass periodic random drug screens.
• Must be able to pass background suitability investigation.
• Must obtain a Tribal Gaming License.
• Must obtain all other applicable certifications and licenses.
