JOB PROFILE:
Member Services is the first impression when you walk into the Club. Member Services is dedicated to providing exceptional service by answering member and guest inquiries regarding events, reservations, and daily activities that are taking place throughout the Club and providing the information they seek in a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional manner. As the informational center of the Club, this will be executed through the ability to understand a member’s needs and effectively communicate with all other departments. The Front Office follows the 7 Principles of Service: give dignity, be a presence, keep it clean, see it – do it, know the details, anticipate need and be in the happiness business.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- Strong communication skills to ensure quality communication with management, team members, club members and guests.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and professionalism to ensure polite, professional and caring interaction with members and guests.
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions to ensure consistent service.
- Possessing the highest level of work ethic, integrity and teamwork.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, changing or challenging circumstances.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and problem solve.
- Works well under pressure.
- Working weekends and holidays are necessary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a customer service environment
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Bilingual English-Spanish
- CPR Certified
PHYSICAL, ENVIRONMENTAL, COGNITIVE, AND SOCIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Sitting, standing, walking, reaching, stooping, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, grasping: stand for long periods of time; stoop, bend, squat, twist at the neck and waist, reach above and below shoulder level, push and pull including doors and drawers.
Speaking, writing and active listening: Able to use oral communication skills effectively to talk and hear both in-person from close and in noisy environments; interact effectively with the public and management, and occasionally deal with distressed or quarrelsome individuals.
Critical and creative thinking skills: Able to observe and interpret people and situations; learn and remember necessary information.
Time management: Prioritize assignments, schedule effectively and manage own time efficiently to complete work on a timely basis; shift focus to perform work on multiple, concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions; work well under pressure and deadlines;
Vision Requirements: Close vision, distance vision, use of both eyes to identify sand and spills, and to read labels and instructions. Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades; depth perception, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
