Medication Technician/Caregiver

Duties
- Administer medications to residents according to prescribed dosage and schedule
- Monitor residents for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Document medication administration and any observed changes in residents' condition
- Assist with the ordering, storage, and disposal of medications
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, and community manager to ensure proper medication management
- Provide support and assistance to residents with activities of daily living as needed

Skills
- Experience working with seniors and or memory care needs
- Knowledge of or a willingness to learn and understand the effects of medications on the body
- Familiarity or willingness to learn medical documentation and record keeping practices
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with healthcare professionals
- Understanding and retain protocols and procedures for our community.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow medication administration guidelines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
