- Accountable for the execution of operational plans for a complex set of programs and critical initiatives related to assigned market or line of service and for maintaining alignment and identifying interdependencies between all program level work efforts
- Maintain and refine key market segments and strategies to ensure line of business market success; promote specific line of business through active participation in internal and external communications, planning activities, trade shows, conferences etc.
- Collaborate with various business units, cross functional teams and key stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate and on budget implementation of programs
- Provide comprehensive, accurate, timely and relevant market analysis and reporting to inform Prime’s management; manage assessment, tracking and strategies necessary to take advantage of market opportunities
- Manage products/programs and implement tools/enhancements to ensure new strategies are successfully developed and implemented; leverage new or existing tools to manage and cultivate new business opportunities
- Responsible for business deliverables, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and prioritization of business objectives for initiatives; Prepares executive level presentations, articulating the business objectives, project/program progress, challenges and successes in meeting stated objectives
- Work closely with the General Manager of the market segment to define the desired business outcomes and articulate those in the program and project value statements
- Under the direction of the General Manager or AVP collaborate with clients and key internal stakeholders to interpret strategy and determine how to operationalize it across Prime
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Health Care Administration, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
- 10 years of analytic, account management, product development, project management or consultative experience within healthcare, PBM, specialty pharmacy, health care consulting or other highly regulated industry
- 3 years of program management experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
- Ability to establish trust, respect and credibility and form close working relationships with all levels of Prime
- Demonstrated ability to distill complex concepts or situations into concise and compelling communications
- Expert negotiation and influencing skills
- Exceptional client relationship management and cross-functional team building skills
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
- Constantly required to sit, use hands to handle or feel, talk and hear
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Reports to VP or AVP in the Client Engagement, Specialty Operations, or Market Segment Services, Government Programs, Operations, Planning & Delivery, Finance, or Stars & Quality departments
