South College invites applications for the position of Adjunct Faculty for Online Medical Terminology courses offered through the Lonas campus in Knoxville. The courses are blueprinted, and the course content encompasses the language of Medical Terminology as related to the healthcare field.
The Adjunct Faculty Member will provide instruction for Medical Terminology lecture on a quarter-by-quarter appointment.
Candidates must evidence the following:
· A minimum of a master’s degree is required with a concentration in healthcare with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the subject matter.
· Experience in LMS (Canvas, or Blackboard, or D2L, etc.).
· A demonstrated commitment to improving student learning through innovative strategies shown to assist students in succeeding in the course and program level.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
