Dr. Blane Crandall has been board certified in Family Practice and OB/GYN and we have been taking care of patients in Naples since 1989.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Medical Secretary to join our team! As a Medical Secretary, you will be responsible for greeting patients who have seen the doctor, recording the charges and payments for the visit, processing orders for mammograms and imaging, fax referrals to other physicians scanning medical documents , answer the phone and schedule appointments . The ideal candidate is very organized, has strong customer service and interpersonal skills, and works well independently and within a team.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients who have seen the physician and process charges and payments
- Schedule future appointments related to their visit
- Process orders for Mammograms or Imaging appointments
- Answer the phone and schedule appointments or answer patient questions
- Close out the end of the day financials and balance the day sheet with collections.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills and pleasant telephone communication
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite and electronic medical records
- Previous medical office experience desired
