Our nephrology medical practice is currently seeking an experienced and knowledgeable receptionist to assist our healthcare team with documenting patient medical records and coordinating patient appointments. The successful applicant will be responsible for documenting accurate and detailed information of patient visits. The ideal candidate will provide the highest quality customer service to patients, adhere to practice protocols and processes, and effectively manage the volume of work without allowing quality to be compromised. If you have prior experience working in a medical practice, we highly encourage you to apply. Even if you don't have experience, you can learn on the job if you are eager and motivated!!
Payment initially ranges from $15-$17 per hour but can be increased based on prior experience and work ethic. Currently, work schedule is from Monday to Wednesday (8 hours daily) but there is an additional opportunity available for increased pay with added responsibilities and benefits.

**Responsibilities**
- Accurately document patient encounters, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure they are up-to-date and organized
- Assist with medical scheduling and appointment coordination
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers and patients, ensuring effective communication
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and handling patient inquiries
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely documentation
**Requirements**
- Eager to learn electronic medical record (EMR)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- No need for experience, can learn on the job
- Will need to use EMR, room and staff the patient with vital signs
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
