Medical Scribe will serve as a trusted partner to providers in their assigned center and as a medical staff member supporting the Medical Assistants and Patient Care Specialists.

Job Description:
The Medical Scribe will:
- Prepare and assemble medical documentation/charts for providers.
- Enter the patient room with the provider during patient visits to capture and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Update patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient record.
- Prepare and send all documentation to the provider for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures.
- Monitor the duration of basic lab results and screening procedures.
- Comply with MedRite Urgent Care Center Policies.

- Work with clinical and organizational leadership to maintain and evaluate a newly formed onboarding training program and co-existing preceptor program for Medical Assistants.

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma, Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy preferred.
- Experience using EMR software preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Microsoft Office experience.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
