SalaryWe are looking for a qualified medical assistant/scriber to run our medical facility and be part of our team. You will be responsible in helping complete patient's medical records. Your responsibility is to create comprehensive and detailed medical records, which include the patient's medical history, chief complaints, symptoms, physical examination findings, diagnostic test results, treatments administered, and other relevant information. Our position requires knowledge of healthcare systems operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure steady workflows and uninterrupted service in our medical facility.
Responsibilities
- Document patient medical histories, chief complaints, symptoms, and physical examination findings accurately and efficiently.
- Record diagnostic test results, treatments administered, and other pertinent information in the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to legal and regulatory requirements, including patient confidentiality and privacy standards.
- Assist with medical coding and billing as needed.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Previous experience as a medical scribe or similar role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Strong typing skills and familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
