We are looking for a Medical Scribe to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology and be able to accurately document patient encounters in an electronic health record system. The successful candidate will be responsible for transcribing the physician's dictation, entering orders into the system, and ensuring that all medical records are up to date and accurate. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the medical field and to work closely with a seasoned Emergency Physician. Responsibilities:
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Assist the physician with documentation during the patient visit.
- Ensure accuracy of all documentation.
- Follow up with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure accuracy of documentation.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
- Understand medical terminology and abbreviations.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $27.00 per hour
