The Medical Records Retrieval Representative (Risk Adjustment Representative 3) retrieves Medical Records from provider offices for a variety of reviews and audits through various retrieval methods.Responsibilities
Travel up to 25% of the time, and will consist of driving to locations close to your home, as well as driving to locations that require overnight travel for up to a week at a time
Use a laptop computer and a portable scanner to retrieve Medical Records which will be uploaded into a database
Schedule appointments and visits to physician offices in a timely, efficient manner to meet all deadlines
Be able to independently troubleshoot technology and equipment while in the field

Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
1+ years of administrative, office or support experience
Must have reliable transportation
This job is part of Humana's Driver safety program and therefore requires an individual to have a valid state driver's license and proof of personal vehicle liability insurance with at least 100/300/100 limits
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Demonstrated organizational skills
Working knowledge of computers, or a demonstrated technical aptitude and an ability to quickly learn new systems
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s Degree or higher education
Prefer that candidate lives in a reasonable commutable distance to Federal Way, WA
Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) in either a clerical or clinical environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
Knowledge and experience in health care environment/managed care

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$41,700 - $57,450
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
