SalaryWe have an IMMEDIATE opening for an HVAC Construction Foreman/Superintendent in the central I-5 corridor area. This position will assist in the management and organization of an HVAC construction. The construction environment will require a “hands on leader” that will be able to supervise as well as perform the installation of duct work and HVAC systems when needed.
Technical Requirements:
- Plan and coordinate crews with tasks to be performed and monitor performance
- Knowledge of HVAC duct configurations and the airflow impact
- Experience with sheet metal and flexible duct systems
- Understand submittal data and construction documents
- Comprehension of equipment installation and operations manuals
- Ability to read and comprehend construction blue prints
- Knowledge of HVAC start up procedures and troubleshooting
- Understand how to ask for help when needed
Desired Qualifications:
- 5-7 years’ experience as a construction foreman/superintendent
- Experience working on multifamily construction environment & light commercial buildings
- Good communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a harsh environment, exposed to the elements, with physical activity
- Good organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to work with people from different backgrounds
- Proven ability to supervise, lead and develop others
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Must be a team player
